STARTEK Engineering’s fingerprint feature extractor has, as of May 9th, 2008, passed the MINEX (Minutiae Interoperability Exchange Test) program led by the United States’ NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology). Making us among few qualified companies completed the rigorous government testing procedures in order to supply both fingerprint extractor and matcher for US Personal Identity Verification (PIV) and Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC) projects.
