To activate the device, you must register a user account
(2) Fill out these columns one by one. Only alphabetical, numeric and symbolic characters are acceptable.
(3) Then click the FP Enroll button to start the fingerprint enrollment procedure.
(4) Slide your finger down along the sensor from the first joint of your finger to the end firmly. Make sure your finger has direct contact with the sensor in order to obtain clear images displayed on the screen. Repeat this movement at least THREE times until the BioIDisk collects adequate fingerprint readings.
(5) On a scale from A to E, with A being the highest quality, your fingerprint template is rated depending on what the BioIDisk reads. For non-class A templates, i.e. classes among B to E will be suggested to enhance. In the event of failing to pass the lowest quality threshold after six times of slides, users will be requested to re-enroll. For satisfactory success rates on subsequent slides to gain access to the BioIDisk, it is encouraged to score it as high as possible
(6) Pull down the FP Security combo box to select matching security level.
Note: Provided that the image quality remains unsatisfactory, SLIGHTLY moisturize the surf ace of your finger with the air exhaled through your mouth. This will help the BioIDisk read the ridges and furrows on your finger.
Attention: Never exert too much pressure on the sensor. Doing so can degrade image quality and damage the sensor.Never slide your finger with water still lingering on your finger. Water creates the risk of internal short circuit.
